The cribriform plate is part of the Ethmoid bone in the anterior cranial fossa.

Anatomy

The cribriform plate is part of the ethmoid bone and is a sieve-like structure between the anterior cranial fossa and the nasal cavity. The nerve fibers of the olfactory nerve pass through the cribriform plate to the brain.
